Description

The VS1003 SD Card Mini Player (2013 Edition) is an example of simplest possible MP3/WMA/MIDI/WAV (PCM, IMA ADPCM) audio player. It requires just SD card, boot EEPROM, and a crystal to make a complete high quality player.

The VS1003 SD Card Mini Player shows the direction on how SD card support can be added to an existing system. In many accessory products the price erosion of the Flash memory can be overcome by using SD card instead of an integrated Flash.
