Simple DSP Host is a "motherboard" for VS1053 or VS8053 Simple DSP Board, which provides connectors for easy accessibility and debugging for the Simple DSP Board.

VSIDE RS232 cable is used to connect serial RS232 interface of a PC to a serial RS232 interface of Simple DSP Host Connector Board..

RS232 adapter is used with evaluation boards for debugging the application specific boot code as well as downloading it into the boot EEPROM.

It works with Simple DSP Boards, Prototyping Boards, VS1053 USB Hi-Fi Player Board, VS1003 SD Card mini player, VS1000D Button-Cell Player, VS1000C Audio Module, and other boards with only logic-level RX / TX signals.

It is not needed for VS1000 Developer Board and VS10xx/VS1053 Evaluation Kit because these already have RS232 interface.

USB to UART converter cable. Provides logical-level signals for TX and RX, optionally provides 5V power output. Can be used with the same cards than the RS232 adapter, i.e. cards that have only logic-level UART pins.
